[hackerspaces] Hackerspaces + "Real Property" + Community Land Trusts

Matthew Senate
Howdy folks,

Have any hackerspace members had experience with community land trusts, obtaining real property, and other related hacks to continue hackerspace-related activities for long periods of time in the same location?

Sudo room is part of https://omnicommons.org/ and I'm searching for comparative examples anywhere in the world concerning owning the infrastructure of the hackerspace itself (sub-section, building, land, etc), as well as collaborating with organizations like Community Land Trusts (or similar) to protect the use of the land over time.

Thanks!

// Matt
